Mutiara Aqiqah Kendari offers a full range of aqiqah services, but their service list and pricing used to be available only by phone or in-person visit. So this project built a company profile on Blogger with a custom-coded theme, giving prospective customers a way to compare packages and order directly through WhatsApp.
Work like this is usually split between a developer, a UI/UX designer, a graphic designer, and a marketer. On this project, one person holds all four of those skill sets, so every decision came from someone who understood the whole project, not just their own part of it.

Business impact here is measured across 5 areas: Presence, Quality, Trust, Conversion and Growth. Together they cover how the business is found, perceived, and acted on.
Full service info, available anytime
Before
Prospective customers had to call or visit in person just to learn service details and pricing, with no way to browse independently beforehand.
After
All services and package pricing can now be viewed directly on the website anytime, letting customers browse and compare on their own before ever reaching out.
Each project draws on a mix of disciplines: here’s how they came together on this one.
The tools and technologies that came together to bring this project to life.

The problems that came up while building this project, and what came out of solving them.
Building a Custom Blogger Theme From Scratch
Blogger doesn’t support component libraries like typical web frameworks, so the entire theme was hand-coded in XML using Blogger’s templating tags to get full design control.
Building the Pre-Filled WhatsApp Order Flow
Each package needed to generate a WhatsApp link pre-filled with the selected product and portion details, built with JavaScript to dynamically construct the message.
The technical problems fixed while building this project.
Zero broken or mismatched order links
Images under 200KB
Zero hosting costs
Full custom design, zero shortcuts available
Before
Generating a WhatsApp link dynamically from each package’s specific product and portion details risked a malformed or incorrect link if the generation logic had any edge case bug, silently sending a customer to a broken or wrong message with no error shown.
After
The link-generation logic was built and tested to correctly encode every package’s exact details every time, so a customer always lands on an accurate, pre-filled message.
Before
High-resolution images across the site, not just one section, risked slowing down every page.
After
Every image across the site is compressed to WebP and kept under 200KB, keeping pages fast without a visible drop in quality.
Before
A typical WordPress or custom-hosted website would mean ongoing hosting fees for a small local business.
After
Building on Blogger with a custom-coded theme delivers a fully custom design at zero hosting cost.
Before
Blogger doesn’t support component libraries or frameworks the way typical web development does, leaving no shortcut to achieving full custom design control.
After
The entire theme was hand-coded from scratch in XML using Blogger’s own templating tags, achieving complete design control despite the platform’s constraints.
